The Dutchtown Griffins (Geismar, LA) basketball knocked off the visiting Bourgeois Braves (Gray, LA), 68-51 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Griffins (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Edna Karr (New Orleans, LA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Edna Karr went down by New Iberia (New Iberia, LA), 48-38, in a non-league test.
The Braves now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to E.D. White for a non-league test on Monday, December 12. Bourgeois will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 41-7 non-league win over Thrive Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-3.
