The Dike-New Hartford Wolverines (Dike, IA) basketball knocked off the visiting Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers (Center Point, IA), 71-52 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wolverines (6-0) will now prepare for their test against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, East Marshall went down by Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA), 61-30, in a league test.
The Stormin' Pointers now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host South Tama County for a WAMAC - West test on Friday, December 16. Center Point-Urbana will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 69-12 non-league loss to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 1-5.
