Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) and the visiting Earlville Red Raiders (Earlville, IL), saw St. Bede's basketball squad knock off Earlville by a count of 47-29.

With the victory, St. Bede upgrades its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Kewanee (Kewanee, IL) to play the Boilermakers in a Three Rivers - East challenge on Monday, December 12. The Boilermakers come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Kewanee lost 47-40 in their recent league challenge against Bureau Valley (Manlius, IL)

Next up, the Red Raiders play the Illinois Math & Science Titans (Aurora, IL) in a Little Ten challenge, on Monday, December 12. Earlville will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 60-13 non-league loss to St. Laurence (Burbank, IL).
