In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Reserve Mountaineers basketball team scored a tight 53-46 triumph over the Estancia Bears.
In their next game, the Mountaineers meet the Capitan Tigers (Capitan, NM) in a non-league match, on Thursday, December 15. Reserve will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 34-30 non-league win over Quemado (Quemado, NM).
