Indiana High School Basketball - Evansville Reitz holds off Owensboro

December 10, 2022: Evansville, IN 47712

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Evansville Reitz Panthers (Evansville, IN) and the visiting Owensboro Red Devils (Owensboro, KY), saw Evansville Reitz's basketball squad hold off Owensboro by a tally of 57-53.

With the victory, Evansville Reitz improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host North Posey (Poseyville, IN) to confront the Vikings in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 12. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 5-3. North Posey lost 59-53 in their recent league challenge against Washington (Washington, IN)

Next up, the Red Devils confront the Apollo Eagles (Owensboro, KY) in a District 9 challenge, on Friday, December 16. Owensboro will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record.
