Falls City Tigers (Falls City, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE), 36-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Falls City upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Tigers host Southern (Wymore, NE) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Southern won 35-23 in their recent non-league bout against Deshler (Deshler, NE)

Next up, the Falcons play the Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer Titans (Humboldt, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Freeman will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 55-31 non-league loss to Lourdes Central Catholic (Nebraska City, NE).
