Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbard East trounces Plainfield South

The Glenbard East Rams (Lombard, IL) basketball crushed the host Plainfield South Cougars (Plainfield, IL), 61-34 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Rams (6-3) will now prepare for their test against West Chicago (West Chicago, IL). The Wildcats go into the Upstate Eight test with a 10-1 record. In their last test, West Chicago walloped Lisle (Lisle, IL), 49-31, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Joliet West for a SouthWest Prairie - East test on Friday, December 16. Plainfield South will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 50-30 league win over Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 6-3.
