Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hermleigh Cardinals (Hermleigh, TX), 59-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Paradise upgrades its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Windthorst (Windthorst, TX) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 9-1. Windthorst won 45-35 in their recent non-league bout against Tolar (Tolar, TX)

Next up, the Cardinals play the Highland Hornets (Roscoe, TX) in a 1A Region II District 14 bout, on Friday, January 6. Hermleigh will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record.
