The Lake Charles College Prep basketball team (Lake Charles, LA), was nudged 62-61 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Istrouma Indians (Baton Rouge, LA)
The Indians now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thrive Academy for a non-league battle on Monday, December 12. Istrouma will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 41-7 non-league loss to E.D. White (Thibodaux, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-6.
The (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA). The Buccaneers come into the non-league battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Barbe edged Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA), 54-48, in a non-league battle.
