In Saturday's non-league outing, the Midview Middies (Grafton, OH) basketball squad beat the host Lansing Catholic Cougars (Lansing, MI), by a margin of 52-44.

The Middies (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Steele (Amherst, OH). The Comets go into the Southwestern outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Steele was beaten by North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH), 49-30, in a league outing.

The Cougars now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Williamston for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 13. Lansing Catholic will meet a Hornets team coming off a 50-40 league win over St. Johns (St. Johns, MI). The Hornets record now stands at 3-1.
