The Lutheran Mustangs basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host Travis Rebels to 22 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Providence Catholic for a non-league contest on Monday, December 12. Lutheran will battle a Provets team coming off a 43-30 league win over St. Augustine (Laredo, TX). The Provets record now stands at 5-9.

The Rebels (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Crockett (Austin, TX). The Cougars come into the 5A Region III District 24 contest with a 1-12 record. In their last contest, Crockett triumphed over Eastside Early College (Austin, TX), 44-42, in a league contest.
