California High School Basketball - San Lorenzo Valley nips Mercy

December 10, 2022: Felton, CA 95018

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the San Lorenzo Valley Cougars (Felton, CA) and the visiting Mercy Crusaders (Burlingame, CA), saw San Lorenzo Valley's basketball squad hold off Mercy by a count of 60-53.

With the victory, San Lorenzo Valley upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Pajaro Valley (Watsonville, CA) to play the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 12. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Pajaro Valley won 50-10 in their recent non-league challenge against Harbor (Santa Cruz, CA)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Summit Shasta Black Bears (Daly City, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Mercy will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Black Bears come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 52-50 non-league win over Crystal Springs Uplands (Hillsborough, CA).
