With the victory, Oglesby upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Jonesboro (Jonesboro, TX) to play the Eagles in a 1A Region IV District 25 bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 4-6. Jonesboro lost 35-23 in their recent non-league bout against Italy (Italy, TX)

Next up, the Eagles play the Meridian Yellowjackets (Meridian, TX) in a 1A Region III District 20 bout, on Friday, December 16. Morgan will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 35-27 league loss to Blum (Blum, TX).
