In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Nettleton Raiders basketball team scored a decisive 48-24 triumph over the Southside Southerners.
In their next game, the Raiders meet the Jonesboro Hurricane (Jonesboro, AR) in a non-league match, on Friday, December 16. Nettleton will attempt to move on its 8-0 season record.
With the defeat, Southside moves to 1-3 on the year. The Southerners host Trumann (Trumann, AR) to meet the Wildcats in a 4A Region 3 match on Tuesday, December 13. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 1-5. Trumann lost 50-38 in their recent league match against Blytheville (Blytheville, AR)
