The Varsity Opponent basketball team (, ), was nudged 49-44 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting TPLS Christian Academy Lions (Richmond, VA)

The Lions now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverdale Baptist for a Freelance battle on Tuesday, December 13. TPLS Christian Academy will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 55-51 non-league loss to South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX). The Crusaders record now stands at 3-2.

The (41-125) will now prepare for their battle against Storm King (Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Storm King edged Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD), 57-50, in a non-league battle.
