Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pueblo West Cyclones (Pueblo West, CO), 35-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Discovery Canyon upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Thunder travel to Widefield (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Gladiators in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Gladiators go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Cyclones play the Canon City Tigers (Canon City, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 15. Pueblo West will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 34-28 non-league win over The Classical Academy (Colorado Springs, CO).
