Northumberland Indians (Heathsville, VA) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Nandua Warriors (Onley, VA), 77-67 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Northumberland upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Middlesex (Saluda, VA) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Chargers come into the bout with a record of 2-2.

Next up, the Warriors play the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Nandua will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Ambassadors come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 66-60 non-league win over Great Bridge (Chesapeake, VA).
