In Sunday's non-league outing, the Friends Academy Quakers (Locust Valley, NY) basketball squad felled the host Uniondale Knights (Uniondale, NY), by a margin of 58-49.

The Quakers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Island Trees (Levittown, NY). The Bulldogs go into the Section 8 A-1 outing with a 0-0 record.
