With the win, Santa Gertrudis Academy upgrades its record to 5-9 on the season. The Lions host Miller (Corpus Christi, TX) to clash with the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 13. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Miller won 42-30 in their recent non-league bout against Corpus Christi Moody (Corpus Christi, TX)

Next up, the Yellowjackets clash with the Moulton Bobkatz (Moulton, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 30 bout, on Friday, December 15. Runge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Bobkatz go into the bout with a 14-6 record after their 45-36 league win over Pettus (Pettus, TX).
