Maryland High School Basketball - Springdale Prep nudges Varsity Opponent

In Sunday's non-league outing, the Springdale Prep Lions (New Windsor, MD) basketball squad nipped the visiting Varsity Opponent (, ), by a margin of 47-44.

The Lions (14-9) will now prepare for their outing against Cristo Rey Jesuit (Baltimore, MD). The Hornets go into the outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Cristo Rey Jesuit got by Fellowship of Christian Athletes (Kingsville, MD), 46-18, in a league outing.

The now own a 41-161 record. They play next when they travel to Life Center Academy for a non-league outing on Sunday, December 10. Varsity Opponent will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 80-61 non-league win over Oak City Prep (Raleigh, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-3.
