In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Abernathy Antelopes basketball team scored a close 50-49 win over the Childress Bobcats.
The Antelopes (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Coahoma (Coahoma, TX). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Coahoma edged Colorado (Colorado City, TX), 77-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Clarendon Broncos (Clarendon, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 12. Childress will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record.
