The Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) basketball toppled the host Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA), 65-53 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Monticello for a Jefferson bout on Friday, December 13. Albemarle will play a Mustangs team coming off a 67-27 non-league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, Fleming falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Colonels host George Washington (Danville, VA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-0.
