The Atascocita Eagles basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Westfield Mustangs to 37 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagles now possess a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bellaire for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Atascocita will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 84-25 league win over Wisdom (Houston, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Westfield falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Nimitz (Houston, TX) to confront the Cougars in a 6A Region II District 14 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 7-9.
