In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Sabine Cardinals basketball team scored a good 51-43 triumph over the Atlanta Rabbits.

The Cardinals (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against Tatum (Tatum, TX). The Eagles go into the 3A Region II District 16 contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Tatum topped Hudson (Lufkin, TX), 62-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rabbits confront the Kemp Yellowjackets (Kemp, TX) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 12. Atlanta will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a 6-6 record after their 76-35 non-league win over Wills Point (Wills Point, TX).
