New York High School Basketball - Shaker knocks off Averill Park

In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Shaker Bison basketball team scored a good 54-34 win over the Averill Park Warriors.
The Bison (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Guilderland (Guilderland Center, NY). The Flying Dutchmen come into the Section 2 Suburban - Blue contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Guilderland was topped by Albany (Albany, NY), 69-61, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans (Burnt Hills, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Gray contest, on Friday, December 13. Averill Park will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 1-1 record after their 81-49 league loss to Christian Brothers Academy (Albany, NY).
