The Avonworth Antelopes basketball team scored 83 points and limited the visiting Shady Side Academy Bulldogs to 49 in the Antelopes non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Antelopes now have a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Shaler Area for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Avonworth will confront a Titans team coming off a 79-74 non-league win over North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Titans record now stands at 1-2.

With the loss, Shady Side Academy falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Kiski Area (Vandergrift, PA) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Cavaliers go into the game with a record of 0-3. Kiski Area lost 49-36 in their recent non-league game against Franklin Regional (Murrysville, PA)
