Benson (Benson, MN) fans went home pleased Tuesday as they observed their basketball team overcome the host Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars (Belgrade, MN), 73-65 in a league challenge.

The (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Renville County West (Renville, MN). The Jaguars come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Renville County West defeated Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN), 73-54, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Kimball Cubs (Kimball, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Cubs come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 78-69 non-league win over Dassel-Cokato (Cokato, MN).
