The Monument Valley Mustangs (Kayenta, AZ) basketball edged the host Blue Ridge Yellow Jackets (Lakeside, AZ), 55-49 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Maryvale for a non-league bout on Thursday, December 12. Monument Valley will play a Panthers team coming off a 72-66 non-league win over Mountain Ridge (Glendale, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 3-6.

With the loss, Blue Ridge falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Yellow jackets host Winslow (Winslow, AZ) to play the Bulldogs in a 3A East bout on Monday, December 16. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Winslow lost 68-67 in their recent non-league bout against Tuba City (Tuba City, AZ)
