The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Oakdale (Ijamsville, MD) and the visiting Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD), observed Oakdale's basketball team overwhelm Catoctin by a score of 64-33.

The (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Urbana (Ijamsville, MD). The Hawks come into the CMC challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Urbana was routed by Linganore (Frederick, MD), 61-42, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the North Hagerstown Hubs (Hagerstown, MD) in a CMC challenge, on Friday, December 13. Catoctin will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Hubs come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 62-20 league win over Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD).
