In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Chapin Eagles basketball team scored a good 72-61 triumph over the Newberry Bulldogs.
The Eagles (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Blythewood (Blythewood, SC). The Bengals go into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Blythewood was topped by River Bluff (Lexington, SC), 62-47, in a non-league contest.
