In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Paint Branch Panthers basketball team scored a close 57-50 triumph over the Damascus Hornets.
The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Einstein (Kensington, MD). The Titans go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Einstein was tipped by Old Mill (Millersville, MD), 78-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hornets battle the Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 13. Damascus will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 62-49 non-league loss to Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD).
