In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Kimball Cubs basketball team scored a good 78-69 triumph over the Dassel-Cokato Chargers.
The Cubs (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (Belgrade, MN). The Jaguars go into the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa was topped by Benson (Benson, MN), 73-65, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Chargers encounter the Paynesville Bulldogs (Paynesville, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Dassel-Cokato will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 54-53 league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, MN).
