The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Thomas Nelson Generals (Bardstown, KY) and the visiting Edmonson County Wildcats (Brownsville, KY), observed Thomas Nelson's basketball team overcome Edmonson County by a margin of 54-44.

The Generals (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bethlehem (Bardstown, KY). The Eagles/Banshees come into the District 19 challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Bethlehem defeated Washington County (Springfield, KY), 68-59, in a league bout.

With the loss, Edmonson County falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY) to play the Cougars in a District 12 bout on Friday, December 13. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Grayson County won 75-37 in their recent non-league bout against Ohio County (Hartford, KY)
