California High School Basketball - Mount Miguel nips Granite Hills

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA) and the visiting Granite Hills Eagles (El Cajon, CA), observed Mount Miguel's basketball team edge Granite Hills by a score of 54-51.

The Matadors (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Valhalla (El Cajon, CA). The Norsemen come into the non-league challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Valhalla edged Grossmont (El Cajon, CA), 50-42, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Patrick Henry Patriots (San Diego, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Granite Hills will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 69-50 non-league loss to San Marcos (San Marcos, CA).
