The Guyer Wildcats basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Melissa Cardinals to 57 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now have a 13-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hebron for a 6A Region I District 5 game on Tuesday, December 17. Guyer will confront a Hawks team coming off a 59-38 non-league win over Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 8-6.

With the loss, Melissa falls to 5-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Anna (Anna, TX) to confront the Coyotes in a 5A Region II District 9 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Coyotes go into the game with a record of 2-9.
