In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Paul Laurence Dunbar Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 43-38 triumph over the Harrison County Thorobreds.
The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lexington Catholic (Lexington, KY). The Knights go into the District 43 contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Lexington Catholic nipped Lafayette (Lexington, KY), 70-43, in a league contest.
