In Tuesday's league test, the West Prairie Cyclones (Sciota, IL) basketball squad defeated the host Lewistown Indians (Lewistown, IL), by a final score of 47-28.

Next, the Cyclones clash with the Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats (Cuba, IL) in a non-league test, on Friday, December 13. West Prairie will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 3-4 record after their 45-37 league loss to Illini Bluffs (Glasford, IL).

The Indians (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Peoria Heights (Peoria Heights, IL). The Patriots come into the Prairieland test with a 3-4 record. In their last test, Peoria Heights went down by Galva (Galva, IL), 70-41, in a non-league test.
