North Carolina High School Basketball - Phoenix Academy overwhelmed by North Stokes

In Tuesday's non-league test, the North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Phoenix Academy Firebirds (High Point, NC), by a score of 72-30.

Next, the Vikings encounter the West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, December 11. North Stokes will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 50-44 league win over McMichael (Mayodan, NC).

The Firebirds (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Winston-Salem Prep (Winston-Salem, NC). The Phoenix come into the 1A Northwest Piedmont test with a 4-0 record. In their last test, Winston-Salem Prep bounced Carver (Winston-Salem, NC), 80-70, in a league test.
