Maryland High School Basketball - Sherwood thwarts Northwest

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) and the visiting Northwest Jaguars (Germantown, MD), observed Sherwood's basketball team knock off Northwest by a score of 58-50.

The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Churchill (Potomac, MD). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Churchill prevailed over Thomas Stone (Waldorf, MD), 66-60, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Jaguars encounter the Watkins Mill Wolverines (Gaithersburg, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Northwest will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 68-43 non-league win over Northwood (Silver Spring, MD).
