The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Norwich Purple Tornado (Norwich, NY) and the visiting Sidney Team (Sidney, NY), observed Norwich's basketball team overwhelm Sidney by a score of 79-46.

The Purple Tornado (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Athens (Athens, PA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Athens trounced Williamson (Tioga, PA), 85-55, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Team battle the Delaware Academy Bulldogs (Delhi, NY) in a Section 4 Midstate challenge, on Friday, December 13. Sidney will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 59-31 non-league win over Schalmont (Schenectady, NY).
