In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Valley Christian Defenders basketball team scored a close 37-30 triumph over the Pacifica Mariners.
The Defenders (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against California Lutheran (Wildomar, CA). The C-Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, California Lutheran was tipped by Wiseburn- Da Vinci (El Segundo, CA), 83-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mariners battle the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves (El Segundo, CA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 12. Pacifica will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Wolves go into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 83-44 non-league win over California Lutheran (Wildomar, CA).
