Nebraska High School Basketball - Pender holds off Winnebago

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Pender Pendragons basketball team scored a close 47-45 triumph over the Winnebago Indians.

The Pendragons (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Lutheran-Northeast nipped Riverside (Cedar Rapids, NE), 61-41, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Indians confront the Omaha Nation Chiefs (Macy, NE) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, December 12. Winnebago will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Chiefs go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 81-51 non-league loss to Bancroft-Rosalie (Bancroft, NE).
