The Towanda Black Knights basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Sayre Redskins to 42 in the Black Knights league win on Tuesday.

The Black Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Williamson (Tioga, PA). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Williamson was tipped by Athens (Athens, PA), 85-55, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Redskins battle the Wellsboro Hornets (Wellsboro, PA) in a Northern Tier challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Sayre will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 46-29 non-league loss to Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA).
