St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Suttons Bay Norsemen (Suttons Bay, MI), 56-36 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St. Francis advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Gladiators host Kingsley (Kingsley, MI) to face the Stags in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. The Stags enter the match with a record of 0-3.
The Norsemen now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Leland for a Northwest match on Friday, December 13. Suttons Bay will face a Comets squad coming off a 37-18 non-league loss to St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI). The Comets record now stands at 1-1.
