New York High School Basketball - Academy of the Holy Names holds off Troy

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Academy of the Holy Names basketball team scored a close 48-42 triumph over the Troy Flying Horses.
The (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mohonasen (Schenectady, NY). The Warriors go into the Section 2 Colonial contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Mohonasen was tipped by Ichabod Crane (Valatie, NY), 49-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Flying Horses confront the Schalmont Sabres (Schenectady, NY) in a Section 2 Colonial contest, on Thursday, December 12. Troy will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Sabres go into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 52-37 league win over Cohoes (Cohoes, NY).
