The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Belle Plaine Tigers (Belle Plaine, MN) and the visiting Waseca Bluejays (Waseca, MN), observed Belle Plaine's basketball team knock off Waseca by a score of 52-40.

The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Maple River (Mapleton, MN). The Eagles come into the AA Section 2 challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Maple River prevailed over United South Central (Wells, MN), 57-48, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bluejays encounter the New Ulm Eagles (New Ulm, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 13. Waseca will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 79-64 league win over Mankato West (Mankato, MN).
