In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Community Christian Royals basketball team scored a close 47-40 triumph over the Purcell Dragons.
The Royals (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Ardmore (Ardmore, OK). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Ardmore nipped KIPP Tulsa University Prep (Tulsa, OK), 74-32, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Comanche Indians (Comanche, OK) in a Canadian Valley contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Purcell will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 44-37 league loss to Bridge Creek (Blanchard, OK).
