The Compton Tarbabes basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Compton Early College Rising Phoenix to 2 in the Tarbabes non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tarbabes now have a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Glenn for a non-league game on Wednesday, December 11. Compton will confront a Eagles team coming off a 36-24 non-league win over La Puente (La Puente, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-5.

With the loss, Compton Early College falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Rising phoenix travel to Don Lugo (Chino, CA) to confront the Conquistadores in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. The Conquistadores go into the game with a record of 6-7.
