The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wingate Bears (Fort Wingate, NM) and the host Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes (Albuquerque, NM), observed Wingate's basketball team knock off Cottonwood Classical Prep by a score of 42-26.
The Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Navajo Pine (Navajo, NM). The Warriors come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Navajo Pine prevailed over Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 44-39, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Coyotes encounter the Menaul Panthers (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 12. Cottonwood Classical Prep will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 61-34 non-league loss to Laguna Acoma (New Laguna, NM).
