In Tuesday's league contest, the host Excelsior Classical Academy Flying Lions basketball team scored a big 38-9 triumph over the Henderson Collegiate Pride.

The Flying Lions (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wolves go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Woods Charter was trounced by Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC), 50-31, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Pride confront the Eno River Academy Bobcats (Hillsborough, NC) in a 1A Triangle North contest, on Friday, December 13. Henderson Collegiate will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 4-7 record after their 41-25 non-league loss to Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC).
